I am a versatile wildlife filmmaker and Girl’s Who Click Ambassador with a strong technical foundation, scientific insight, and an instinct for impactful, engaging storytelling. Based in Bristol, UK, I’m driven by a passion for creating visually captivating media that sparks tangible action for the planet.
My BSc Zoology at The University of Manchester provided the opportunity to live alongside leopards and conduct ecological research in the South African mountains. Whilst this was an incredible experience, it was here I knew I wanted to pivot towards filmmaking. This desire culminated in my dissertation-cum-documentary, The Salamander’s Saviour.
After completing my degree, I pursued UWE’s MA Wildlife Filmmaking (22/23). This program not only honed my skills but also gave me the chance to collaborate with industry leaders, exploring innovative ways to bring scientific narratives to life on screen. It strengthened my belief in film as a tool for conservation, aiming to inspire audiences to reconnect with and protect nature.
In addition to producing my own independent documentaries in partnership with esteemed NGOs like Chester Zoo and Plantlife, I’ve applied my technical expertise to support on a range of projects, including introspective environmental features for Passion Pictures and high-end series for National Geographic.
Whilst I’ve been fortunate to have these experiences, I’ve also embraced the recent turndown in Natural History broadcasting as a chance to broaden my skillset in other genres such as Factual Entertainment and Current Affairs. These roles have strengthened my adaptability and resourcefulness, equipping me with the versatility to work comfortably with both the public and high-profile talent in high-pressure, fast-turnaround settings. I’ve gained valuable expertise in shooting sync, managing tight schedules, and post-production workflows.
Now, I’m eager to return to my roots, where I can merge these skills with my scientific knowledge to craft compelling wildlife stories once again.
